International Women's Day 2009

Women2gether in partnership with Shakti Women and The Drum presents will be marking 100 years of International Women's Day & celebrating women's struggles and resistence.

The afternoon programme includes, guest speakers, a film screening and workshops. The evening entertainment includes spoken word artists, local musicians and Roots Rock Reggae meets Radical Palestinian Hip Hop featuring Yaz Alexander and Shadia Mansour.

The events will start at 4.00pm Saturday 7th March 2009 at The Drum, 144 Potters Lane, Aston, Birmingham, B6 4UU
