Petition to free BBC journalist Alan Johnson

Hundreds of journalists and media personalities have signed an open letter in the Guardian newspaper urging that the BBC's Gaza correspondent, Alan Johnston, be freed quickly and unharmed.

It has now been three weeks since Alan Johnston was abducted and there has been no word on his whereabouts or his condition.
